Halloween Munchies And Decor

Halloween is right around the corner, which means exciting snacks and intricate decorations! Many students enjoy making and eating delicious snacks with their friends or family (of course as a break from decorating their “haunted” house).

Many Halloween inspired snacks include, skeleton finger sandwiches, spider cupcakes,  ghost cakes, and even slimy worm jello! “I love the ogre-eye cookies my mom makes every year! They are green and weird looking, but they taste fantastic!” says Karissa Brixius (‘17). You can always make up your own spooky snacks ideas or ghoulish decorations.

Decorations are not always expensive and can even be homemade. Making them can be an enjoyable experience to have with friends or family. You can create bats that hang from the ceiling with just black paper and string, and ghosts from white fabric. Decorations are an extremely great way to get into the holiday spirit!

The awesome thing about Halloween decorations is that they can go from simply cute to terrifying in seconds. Let your imagination take over and have a blast with it!
