The lady Eagles are yet again having a phenomenal season.  Currently undefeated in conference, they are looking for another conference title.  The Eagles are currently 9-3 with their only losses coming from close defeats by West Forsyth and Hough High School. They have been making easy work of much of the competition winning games by multiple goals.

Freshman (‘19) Hannah McCann on playing on the team her first year, “It’s been a great experience playing for my high school. It has all happened very quickly but I feel very positive about our capabilities.” Several other players and coaches feel the same way making the expectations very high for the team.  Like in years past, the Eagles hope to make a deep run into the state playoffs.

Off of the soccer field, there has been a major event among the coaching staff. Assistant Coach Jimmy Stansell’s first child was born.  He was born on April 15, 2015. His name is George Amen Stansell. The East Forsyth Soccer program as a whole is very excited. Stansell is involved in both teams being the head coach of the mens and an assistant on the women’s teams. No one is more excited than Jacob Grix (‘17), “I hope that one day George Stansell will turn out just like me. Congrats Coach.”  The rest of the team also congratulates Coach Stansell on this huge event.

While a lot is happening off the field, the action is still fast and intense on the field. Come out and support your lady Eagles in their pursuit of the conference title and their attempt at a playoff run!
