Do you want to have a good time with your friends? Do you want to raise money for charity? Do you enjoy playing dodge ball? If you answered yes to any of these questions the Interact Club’s dodge ball tournament is for you!
The East Forsyth Interact Club is sponsoring a dodge ball tournament on Friday, March 20th. The event is a fun and interesting way to raise money for an orphanage in Haiti. In the past, the money raise at this went to building a fresh water well and helped pay for renovations on the building.
Teams must sign up by March 17th. For anybody interested in joining the tournament, the entry fee per team is $42, which will come out to be about $6 of $7 dollars per person. The amount of money per person will depend on the amount of people on your team. It is preferable for there to be six people on a team because there are only allowed six players on the court at a time, but teams can have substitutes if they want.
Anybody interested in watching their friends get pelted with dodge balls are welcome to come watch in the new gym for an entrance fee of $1.
Interact Club is a branch off the Kernersville Rotarians and have done several service projects. This year the Interact Club has done many service projects, including adopting a family at Christmas, Meals of Hope, working at soup kitchens, and raising money for an orphanage in Haiti.
Melissa Alsup and Joyce Zhong are the Presidents of the club, Danlee Brown is the Vice President, Wes Porter is the secretary, and Abby Broughton is the treasurer. If you have any questions regarding the club or the dodge ball tournament be sure to ask on of the officers.
