New Season, New Twists: Top TV Staff Picks For Spring 2015

The beginning of a new year is an exciting time for everyone to do, or watch, something new. Some of the most popular TV shows came back for their next season, including Downton Abbey, How to Get Away with Murder, Pretty Little Liars, The Bachelor, and The Fosters.

Although these are only five shows, there are many other new and exhilarating TV shows coming back.

Downton Abbey:

Season five of Downton Abbey aired on January 4th on PBS. With season four ending with questions and suspense about family drama, the family at Downton is ready for change in the next season, and relationships will be tested.

HTGAWM

How to Get Away with Murder:

After season one of How to Get Away with Murder, ending with a cliff hanger about the murder of Professor Annalise’s husband, fans of the shows are anxiously waiting to see what will happen with the main characters in the second season, which aired on January 29th on ABC.

Pretty Little Liars:

The highly anticipated and dramatic fifth season of Pretty Little Liars aired on January 6th on ABC Family. The four best friends are back to find “A” and discover secrets and solve mysteries. Kathryn Paulsen (’18) said, “I love Pretty Little Liars because I like the mystery and how it leaves me guessing at the end of each episode!”

The Bachelor:

Season 19 of The Bachelor aired on January 5th on ABC. The new bachelor, Chris Soules, has already stolen the hearts of all the girls on the show. Having been sent home on the previous season of the show The Bachelorette, fans are anxious to follow Chris in his search for love. Emma Marshall (’17) said, “The Bachelor is entertaining because the girls on the show are always psychotic and dramatic.”

The Fosters:

Season three of The Fosters premiered on January 13th on ABC Family. The Fosters is about a family who took in foster children, and the lessons the characters learn about love and family.
