Hot Tub Time Machine 2 In Theaters Soon

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 the sequel to the first movie comes out in theaters around the country on February 20th. It stars Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry, Clark Duke, and Adam Scott. The question that many people ask about sequels is: Will it be as good as the first? The answer to this one is yes! It should be just as good as the first although it lost one of its main characters Nick (John Cusack).

The plot of the upcoming movies plot goes as follows: At the end of the last movie it was revealed that Nick (Craig Robinson) and Lou (Rob Corddry) used the time machine to their advantage and became rich off of their knowledge of the future while staying in the past. Nick stole music artist’s songs and Lou stole the idea for Google. The setting of the current time in the movie is in 2014. During a party Lou is shot by an unknown assailant, forcing Nick and Jacob (Clark Duke) to use the hot tub to travel back in time to figure out who it was and stop them.

When interviewed on his opinion of the movies trailer Jamey May (’15) commented “It was very amusing”. May also said that he had seen the first movie multiple times and that he enjoyed it until Comedy Central overplayed it. He expressed that he likes comedy movies almost as much as being on the baseball mound. May is committed to play college baseball at Belmont Abbey College.

This movie should be just as exciting as the first . It looks like the type of movie that will have you laughing the whole time. It is Rated R so make sure that you catch it with a responsible supervisor if you are under aged. Support your local Kernersville Countryside Cinema for a great price!
